Fashion magazines   The Typical female fashion magazine has a solid colour background which allows for the subheadings to be seen clearly as they stand out. This type of background also makes the magazine look more professional and can be used to create a colour theme along with the text and image. The colour theme makes the magazine cover more appealing to the target audience and will therefore encourage them to buy it. The colour pink is often used along with other neutral colours so that the pink stands out. Pink is used as it is associated with femininity and suits the target audience. It is also a bright colour that is eye-catching. Elle magazine is different as it uses a bright pink that stands out more than the baby pink used on the cosmopolitan and the fashion magazine. Why is it important to budget and pre-plan expenditure for a media production? It is important to pre-plan expenditure because the production may not make profit if too much money is spent on the production. Pre planning helps to prevent wasting money on things that are not necessary which will lead to a greater profit when the product is released. This also means a faster production time if everything is pre-planned which also saves money. Give an example of how even when pre-planning and budgeting happens, unforeseen circumstances can affect production.  Unforeseen circumstances such as weather or injury can affect production and can even prolong production time meaning a higher cost. An actor could be injured while filming and this could mean that planning has to be changed and other scenes that involve the other actors have to be filmed until the injured actor is able to work again. They state that they hold newspapers and magazines to account for their actions, protect individual rights, uphold high standards of journalism and help to maintain freedom of expression for the press.
